ABOUT US
The Family Life Center (FLC) and Canaan Baptist Church (CBC) are separate entities but maintain a collaborative relationship to the benefit of the surrounding community. The church and public donations provide ongoing resources for FLC which is a non-faith-based 501c3 entity seeking to bridge the gap in the community.
Officially founded as a non-profit organization in August 2007, the Canaan Family Life Center, Inc. aims to assist the residents and families of the Greater Germantown area of Philadelphia by providing the missing services and resources necessary for a better quality of life for the citizens of this community. With focus under the direction of Board of Directors, an Executive Director and support staff, the Family Life Center will provide outreach services, clothing services, food services and education, enrichment services and the four initial areas of assistance for this community and beyond.
